You can use either new or used tea bags. Of course, new ones will work better.

Baking soda can be used in the carpet as we mentioned above, but another way to use it to remove strong smells from your car is to mix it with water.
For this, you will need…
- 1 to 5-gallon Bucket – 5 Gallon bucket would work the best
- Baking Soda – 1 Box Should Be Plenty (Amazon)
- Clean Shop Rag – Get a Bunch Here (Amazon)
- Clean Water – Use the Mix Below
Add 2-4 tablespoons of baking soda to a gallon of water into the bucket. Using the clean rag clean all the hard surfaces in the car.
This will remove any smoke residue and smell from the hard surfaces like doors, handles, dashboard, etc.
At the same time, it will remove any lingering smoke scents on those surfaces.
To make sure you get all the spots to perform this task a couple of times to make sure you get all the smoke residue.
